IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION N0.2008-080 (1078/1203/1221) <br />RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS <br />(SOLID WASTE SERVICE CHARGES, SEWER SERVICE CHARGES, COMMUNITY <br />COMPLIANCE CODE VIOLATION PENALTIES AND/OR WEED ABATEMENT <br />CHARGES, AND BUSINESS LICENSE AND WEST SAN LEANDRO SHUTTLE <br />BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT FEES) <br />The City Council of the City of San Leandro has conducted a public hearing on the <br />assessments proposed to be levied for non-payment of delinquent solid waste service charges, <br />sewer service charges, community compliance code violation penalties and/or weed abatement <br />charges, and business license and West San Leandro Shuttle Business Improvement District fees, <br />said hearing conducted at 7:00 p.m. on July 21, 2008 in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, <br />835 East 14th Street, San Leandro, CA 94577. <br />At or before the time set for hearing, owners or persons in possession of the property <br />described in the Report of the Finance Director made protests or objections to the proposed <br />assessments. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That each of these protests or objections, written or oral, is hereby overruled. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Starosciak and passed and adopted this 21St day of July, <br />2008 by the following called vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Grant, Gregory, Prola, Souza, Starosciak, Stephens; <br />Mayor Santos (7) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: None (0) <br />ATTEST: `'~{~- 'l ~'G~1~~ <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
