IN THE CITY COUNCIL. OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION N0.2008-082 (1156/1919) <br />RESOLUTION DESIGNATING VOTING DELEGATE <br />FOR THE LEAGUE OF CALIFORNIA CITIES 2008 ANNUAL CONFERENCE <br />WHEREAS, the League of California Cities ("League") 2008 Annual Conference is <br />scheduled for September 24-27 in Long Beach; and <br />WHEREAS, an important part of the Annual Conference is the Annual Business Meeting, <br />scheduled for September 27, in which the League membership considers and takes action on <br />resolutions that establish League policy; and <br />WHEREAS, the Ciry Council must designate a voting delegate in order to vote at the <br />Annual Business Meeting; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the Ciry of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That Councilmember Diana Souza is hereby designated as the voting delegate. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Starosciak and passed and adopted this 21St day of July, <br />2008, by the following called vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Councihnembers Grant, Gregory, Prola, Souza, Starosciak, Stephens; <br />Mayor Santos (7) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: None (0) <br />ATTEST: ~`~Li 1,'y~ <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
