CITY COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br />Councilmember Grant reported that she attended a workshop provided by the National Forum <br />for Black Public Administrators on Workforce Development. The presentation included a <br />case study from the East Bay Municipal Utility District, which highlighted the importance to <br />an agency of knowing the demographics of its workforce and the issues that are important to <br />them. <br />Councilmember Starosciak wished everyone a happy vacation. <br />regarding noisy vehicles that he has received this week. He noted that the occupant of the <br />vehicle may not even be aware of the volume of the noise that is emanating from the vehicle. <br />Councilmember Prola commented that it will be difficult to pass the 911 Tax and Police <br />Services Parcel Tax ballot measures, and that everyone will need to work to ensure their <br />passage. Councilmember Prola expressed the need for additional revenue and more police <br />officers. <br />Mayor Santos <br />He noted that the Santos announced <br />would be adjourned in memory of Glen J. Perry, a San Leandro <br />resident and former San Leandro police officer. <br /> <br /> <br /> 5. ADJOURN <br /> <br />The meeting was adjourned at 9:50 p.m. in memory of Glen J.
