(1500) Councilmember Starosciak asked whether the Finance Committee has reviewed this item. Mr. Jermanis indicated that, since the City Council appoints the City Attorney, it seemed appropriate to bring the item to the full Council, but it could be referred to the Finance Committee. By consensus, the matter was referred to the City Council Finance Committee. 8.N. Matter of Resolutions Approving First Amendment to Employment Agreement with City Manager John J. Jermanis and Approving Employment Agreement with Interim City Manager Stephen L. Hollister. Councilmember Starosciak commented that the City Council has not had the opportunity to discuss the appointment of Interim City Manager inclosed session. A motion was made by Councilmember Souza, seconded by Councilmember Starosciak, to refer the matter to a closed session. A substitute motion was made by Vice Mayor Stephens, seconded by Councilmember Prola, to approve the two resolutions. Councilmember Souza expressed some concern that the City Manager recruitment process would be delayed until March, and that the recruitment timeline was not agreed upon by the Council. She added that, in adherence to protocol, the matter should be discussed in closed session. • Resolution No. 2008-091, Resolution Approving First Amendment to Employment Agreement with City Manager John J.
