Charitable Solicitation Permits <br />September 15, 2008 <br />3) the solicitation is not made for the charitable purposes described in the application; <br />4) the time, place and manner of soliciting would unreasonably interfere with the public <br />health, safety or welfare. <br />Staff believes these changes to the policy and application process, as well as some changes to the <br />actual permit issued, will be of benefit to legitimate charitable organizations and comfort to the <br />community being asked for contributions.
