• Resolution No. 2005-033, on March 21, 2005, determined that the public interest and <br />necessity require the acquisition of certain land and directed the filing of eminent domain <br />proceedings for a portion of the property located at 1919 Davis Street, APN 079A-0395-006- <br />10, Property Owner: Wal-Mart Estate Business Trust, for Construction of a New Roadway <br />Extending Westgate Parkway to Williams Street <br />• Resolution No. 2005-064, on May 16, 2005, approved plans and specifications and calling <br />for bids for Westgate Parkway Extension to Williams Street. Bid opening date was June 13, <br />2005 <br />• Resolution No. 2005-093, on June 20, 2005, awarded contract to Ray's Electric for Westgate <br />Parkway Extension to Williams Street <br />• Resolution No. 2006-070, on June 19, 2006, accepted the work from Bay Cities Paving & <br />Grading, Inc. for Westgate Parkway Extension to Williams Street, filing of Notice of <br />Completion, and release of bonds <br />• Resolution No. 2006-071, on June 19, 2006, accepted the work from Ray's Electric, Inc. for <br />Westgate Parkway Extension to Williams Street, filing of Notice of Completion, and release <br />of bonds <br />• Resolution No. 2008-071, on June 16, 2008, authorized the City Manager to acquire 2139 <br />Laura Avenue and appropriated funds for the acquisition <br />City Council Committee Review and Action <br />Not Applicable <br />Applicable General Plan Policy <br />The General Plan lists the subject Measure B project in Chapter 4--Transportation, Section D- <br />Traffic Forecasts and Planned Improvements, on Table 4-4--Planned Street Improvements in San <br />Leandro, 2000-2015. <br />Permits and/or Variances Granted <br />Not Applicable <br />Environmental Review <br />The acquisition of property for this project is considered Categorically Exempt under California <br />Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Section 15301.
