Zoning Code Amendments 7 Ocober 6, 2008 <br />These ordinances do not, in themselves, allow the construction of any projects and therefore, <br />have no potential for resulting in physical changes in the environment, directly or ultimately. <br />Additionally, the approval of the Transit-Oriented Development Strategy included the <br />certification of an EIR. That EIR looked at proposed higher densities and other issues and <br />included mitigation measures. <br />Code Compliance Review <br />Not applicable. <br />Board/Commission Findings <br />The Planning Commission reviewed the matter at its August 28, 2008 meeting, recommending a <br />motion to the City Council to approve the ordinances as drafted. <br />Summary of Public Outreach Efforts <br />Legal requirements for notification of this meeting included publication of a legal notice in the <br />Daily Review and posting of the meeting agenda at City Hall a minimum of 72 hours in advance <br />of the meeting date. Notices were also mailed to a total of four interested property owners, the <br />San Leandro Chamber of Commerce and to the City's list of Homeowners Associations.
