Councilmember Starosciak asked if there are any plans to repave the <br />Stenzel Park parking lot. Ken stated that Measure B funds cannot be used for such a project, <br />so it would have to be paid for through general funds. <br />5. Public Comments <br />None <br />6. Committee Member Comments <br />Councilmember Starosciak asked that a future meeting include an update on bid documents <br />for the competitive pool. She also asked what the time frame is for the completion of the <br />Marina Boulevard off ramps. She wants to ensure that the federal funding is in place. Keith <br />stated that the preliminary design documents for the off ramps have been funded. <br />Regarding the I-880/Washington Avenue Project, Councilmember Souza asked if there is a <br />chance for more favorable bids upon rebid of this project. Ken stated that the federal project <br />will be combined with the ACTIA project which means that only the federal rules will have <br />to be adhered to. Then entire project will be completed at once. <br />Mayor Santos asked about what can be done about the traffic issues on Aurora Drive <br />between Marina and Fairway. He also asked about curb cuts that have been proposed at <br />Corvallis, Muir and Wilson Schools. He stated that no further comments have been made on <br />this. He also asked about the undergrounding of utilities in front of Muir and Wilson <br />Schools. He reported that Granbar has requested a crosswalk on the north side of its <br />property. Keith clarified that through upcoming projects, all crosswalks in this area will be <br />put in place. <br />7. Adjourn <br />The meeting adjourned at 6:08 p.m. <br />
