Report on Closed Session Actions Taken City Attorney Williams reported that the City Council met in closed session earlier this evening, and authorized the City Attorney by a vote of 7 to 0 to take appropriate action to enter into a settlement in the case of Lionel Allen et al. v. City of San Leandro et al. (United States District Court, Northern District, Case No. C07-03509 PJH). The City Council will reconvene in closed session following this meeting on the matter of the evaluation of the Interim City Manager. 11. CITY COUNCIL REPORTS A. Reports on Intergovernmental Agencies Councilmember Gregory reported that he joined the 2010 Active Transportation Campaign, an ACTIA steering committee, which will promote more walking and bicycling. He learned that funding is available to set up Safe Routes to Schools in Alameda County, and he will participate in setting up programs in San Leandro. Councilmember Grant reported that she attended the Alameda County Housing Authority Board meeting last week. Councilmember Prola reported that he attended the Alameda County Mosquito Abatement District meeting last week. He passed out copies of a report he received at the meeting on the West Nile Virus cases in Alameda County and comparisons with other counties.
