formation a citizens advisory committee that shall be known as the Redevelopment Advisory <br />Committee (RAC) and the appointment of members thereto. <br />Section 2. The RAC will consist often (10) members, made up of community <br />stakeholders -one property owner, one business owner and one resident who lives within 500 <br />feet of each of the three Project Areas plus one stakeholder representing the housing community <br />(i.e., non-profit housing agency, multi-family property owner, or multi-family residential <br />developer). <br />Section 3. The Redevelopment Agency, through its Executive Director, shall develop a <br />process for public outreach and nomination of members interested in serving on the RAC, final <br />selection and appointment of the RAC representatives would be made by the Redevelopment <br />Agency Chair (Mayor). The membership on the RAC is for a five year term. <br />Section 4. The responsibilities of the RAC would, include providing advisory input on <br />large projects and redevelopment planning documents, as requested by the Agency and/or <br />Agency staff. The RAC would participate in the development of the Five-Year Implementation <br />Plan. The RAC would meet quarterly, or as needed, to provide advisory input on the objectives <br />and programs for each Project Area. The RAC would also provide advisory input on Housing <br />objectives and policies. <br />Section 5. The Redevelopment Agency hereby authorizes the Executive Director of the <br />Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Leandro (or his designee) to develop rules and <br />procedures and administer the Redevelopment Advisory Committee pursuant to the intent of this <br />Resolution. <br />
