Islander Hotel into an affordable apartment building, the Downtown Lighting and Pedestrian <br />Improvements, the Farmers' Market, Downtown Marketing and the Senior Community <br />Center. A printout of the PowerPoint presentation is attached. <br />2. Update on County Projects in the Joint Project Area <br />Redevelopment Director Dalton provided the Committee and Board of Supervisors with a <br />PowerPoint presentation regarding recent County projects within the Joint Project Area. <br />These projects include: the East 14th Street/Mission Blvd streetscape project, the Ashland <br />Youth Center, the Graffiti Abatement Program, and the Ashland Village Housing Project. A <br />printout of the PowerPoint presentation is attached <br />3. Public Comments: <br />None. <br />4. Committee Member Comments: <br />The Committee and Board of Supervisors discussed the positive effects of the Joint Project <br />Area on the East 14th Street corridor and how the City and County could collaborate on the <br />area around Hesperian Boulevard and Lewelling Boulevard. <br />5. Adjourn: The meeting adjourned at 5:35 p.m. <br />
