MINUTES Page 13 <br />City of San Leandro City Council and San Leandro Redevelopment Agency Joint Meeting~ctober 6, 2008 <br />Recommendation for City Council Consideration: <br />a. Schedule review and adoption of the proposed amendment to the <br />Administrative Code policy for naming/renaming facilities. <br />By consensus, the City Council approved this recommendation. <br />6. Shoreline-Marina Committee Meeting of September 23, 2008. Accepted as <br />submitted. <br />Recommendation for City Council Consideration: <br />Vice Mayor Stephens asked whether this was an amendment to an existing <br />agreement. Mr. Hollister replied that when the draft ENRA was presented to the <br />Council for approval, there was a request by the Building Trades Council to add a <br />labor peace clause to the agreement. The matter was referred back to the City <br />Attorney and staff, and then presented to the Shoreline-Marina Committee for a <br />recommendation to the Council. <br />Councilmember Souza. asked for clarification about whether the Council would <br />consider different language than what was being presented tonight. Ms. Williams <br />confirmed that the final agreement would contain the revised language. <br />Vice Mayor Stephens asked for clarification on the defmition of labor peace. Ms. <br />Williams indicated that the issue would be clarified and addressed in the staff <br />report. <br />a. Schedule approval of an Exclusive Negotiating Rights Agreement (ENRA) <br />with Cal Coast Development, LLC relating to development of the San <br />Leandro Shoreline-Marina Area. <br />By consensus, the City Council approved this recommendation. <br />12. CITY COUNCIL COMMENTS <br />Councilmember Grant commented that the Sausage and Suds event appeared to be very <br />successful, and she congratulated those involved in making it happen. She attended the <br />LOCC Conference in Long Beach, which was full of insightful workshops. She attended an <br />interesting workshop on community policing, and the tour of a Cal Coast development in San <br />Pedro. Councilmember Grant asked for the Council's consideration at a future meeting for a <br />presentation by the Davis Street Family Resource Center of their future building needs. <br />Mayor Santos suggested having the Finance Committee consider the item at its October <br />meeting. <br />Councilmember Starosciak commented that she attended the In-N-Out Burger Pre-Opening <br />and Grand Opening, as well as the Civic and Interfaith Prayer Service for the opening of the <br />
