Mayor Santos inquired about a rate study for Waste Water. Public Works Director Bakaldin <br />stated that a study is being done as they are looking to upgrade the Water Pollution Control Plant <br />that will compare to Oro Loma's facility. <br />Mayor Santos commented that he did not anticipate any economic growth until 2010. Carter <br />stated that it is unfortunate that the unemployment rate will increase. <br />2. Committee Member Comments <br />Mayor Santos stated that although it is not typical, he would like the Finance Committee to meet <br />in December for further economic updates and discussion. <br />Councilmember Gregory stated that he has been contacted by the San Leandro Unified School <br />District regarding the City's contribution towards a new gymnasium. Mayor Santos stated at this <br />time the City is not in a position to commit to any contribution. <br />3. Public Comments <br />None <br />4.
