CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:07 p.m. <br /> <br />A. Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag <br /> <br />Mayor Santos led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />B. Roll Call <br /> <br />PRESENT: Members Grant, Gregory, Prola, Souza, Starosciak, Stephens; <br />Mayor Santos <br /> <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> <br /> 2. PRESENTATIONS/RECOGNITIONS <br /> <br />Mayor Santos welcomed Mike Connor, the new Executive Director of the East Bay <br />Dischargers Authority. Mr. Connor introduced himself and thanked the Council for the <br />positive working relationship between EBDA and the City. <br /> <br /> <br />A.Youth Advisory Commission Update. <br /> <br />Kristen Low, Chair, and Domonique Tate, Vice Chair, of the Youth Advisory <br />the February <br />th <br />25 Youth Summit will be Youth Leadership; the Commission will make decisions on <br />its Mini Grants at its meeting on December 15; and the Commission is considering <br />awarding three Youth Leadership Awards: one each to an elementary school, middle <br />school, and high school student. <br /> <br /> <br /> 3. PUBLIC HEARINGSCITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />Public Hearing Comments are limited to 5 minutes per speaker, subject to adjustment by the <br />fill out a speaker card <br />Mayor.
