MINUTES Page 15 <br />City of San Leandro City Council and San Leandro Redevelopment Agency Joint Meeting-December 15, 2008 <br />Mayor Santos commented on the plans for a new Mulford-Marina Branch Library that were <br />shelved, and he added that the South Area is also in need of a new library. He commented <br />that he attended the Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony, and that Santa beat him to the light <br />switch. Mayor Santos welcomed Mr. Hollister as the new City Manager. He recalled <br />campaigning with Councilmember Grant in 2000 and 2004, and he commented on a few of <br />her many accomplishments. <br />13.
