<br />Tax Rates
<br />The tax rate applicable to redevelopment incremental assessed valuation includes the
<br />basic one percent levy. In addition, redevelopment agencies receive tax revenue from debt
<br />service override levies except those that were imposed to repay indebtedness approved by
<br />voters on or after January 1, 1989.
<br />The Agency receives revenue from apre-1989 debt service levy imposed by the East Bay
<br />Regional Parks District. That levy is applied against secured and utility taxable value in the
<br />Project Area, and is 0.0057% for fiscal year 2003-04, as shown below for recent years.
