15. Signs: <br />Any signs City proposes to post on the Park (in addition to signs proposed and approved <br />in the construction documents) shall be subject to District's review and written approval. <br />Signage related to the development, operation and maintenance of the Bridge shall reflect <br />the joint partnership between the District and City. <br />District reserves the right to install and maintain standard District information and <br />warning signs on the Park in locations to be mutually agreed upon by District and City, <br />including but not limited to signs designating permitted Bridge uses by the general <br />public, regulations governing such uses and specifically prohibiting operation of <br />unauthorized motor vehicles. <br />16. Patrol: <br />City shall have primary responsibility for providing police, fire and emergency medical <br />services for the Bridge, including the provision of such patrol service as is reasonably <br />necessary to prevent unauthorized use of the Bridge and to protect the safety of the users <br />of the Bridge. City agrees to devote the same standards and levels of public safety patrol <br />to the Bridge as it is able to and does devote to its other public facilities. District shall <br />continue to provide patrol services to the remainder of the Oyster Bay Regional <br />Shoreline, including the provision of such patrol services as are reasonably necessary to <br />prevent unauthorized use of the Bridge and to protect the safety of the users of the <br />Bridge. <br />17. Assignment: <br />No rights or obligations of City hereunder shall be transferred or assigned unless to a <br />successor public agency and unless the written consent of District is first secured. With <br />that exception, this Agreement and each and all of the covenants herein contained shall <br />inure to the benefit of and be binding upon the successors and assigns of the respective <br />parties hereto. <br />18. Pollution: <br />City, at its expense, shall comply with all applicable laws, regulations, rules and other <br />requirements, with respect to the use of the Park, regardless of when they become or <br />became effective, including, without limitation, those relating to health, safety, noise, <br />environmental protection, waste disposal, water and air quality, and furnish satisfactory <br />evidence of such compliance upon request of District. <br />District at its expense, shall comply with all applicable laws, regulations, rules and other <br />requirements, with respect to the use of Bridge, regardless of when they become or <br />Slough Bridge <br />1-21-09 <br />
