B. Prior to occupancy, a minimum of 1,750 gallons per minute (g.p.m.) at 20 pounds per <br />square inch (p.s.i.) shall be required and verified at the closest fire hydrant and <br />operable to the satisfaction of the Fire Marshal. (The existing hydrant spacing and fire <br />flow (based on EBMUD information) is adequate for the addition). <br />VI. POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />A. The applicant shall submit typical details and specifications for the security of the <br />new residence; details subject to the review and approval of the City of San Learidro <br />Police Department and the Community Development Director. Said details and <br />specifications shall include, but are not limited to, dead bolt locks, front-door door <br />viewers, sliding glass door and window locking and anti forced entry devices. <br />B. All building addresses shall be placed in such a position as to be plainly visible and <br />legible from the street. Said numbers shall contrast with their background and be <br />visible at night. Details including number size and location shall be submitted for the <br />review and approval of the City of San Leandro Police Department, Fire Marshal and <br />the Community Development Director, prior to issuance of building permits. Specific <br />property addresses will be assigned by the City's Building and Safety Division of the <br />Community Development Department. <br />VII. MAINTENANCE <br />A. The site shall be well maintained and shall be kept free of litter, debris and weeds. <br />B. The fencing shall be structurally sound and well maintained at all times; any damage to <br />the fence shall be promptly repaired. <br />C. Any graffiti shall be removed from the building walls and the perimeter fencing. <br />D. All approved and required landscaping on the pxoperry shall be maintained in a healthy <br />growing condition at all times; any damaged or unhealthy plants shall be replaced <br />promptly. <br />E. There shall be no parking or storage of boats, trailers, camper tops, inoperable <br />vehicles and the like outside the building, within the project site. <br />F. Refuse containers and recycle bins shall be left in the garage or in the designated areas <br />on the property or in the rear yard area, and out of view from the public right-of--way <br />on non-service days. <br />VIII. FENCING AND SCREENING REQUIREMENTS <br />A. Any electrical or gas meters, utility switch boxes, telephone, interface cabinets, outdoor <br />refuse, storage areas or other utility feature shall be screened from view by a fence, wall <br />or landscaping; details subject to the approval of the Community Development Director. <br />Agreement to Conditions May 1, 2008 <br />PLN2007-00019 Page 7 of 9 <br />
