IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION N0.2009-035 (3015) <br />RESOLUTION TO CANCEL THE BOAT LAUNCH RAMP RELOCATION PROJECT, <br />PROJECT NO. 150-38-246 <br />WHEREAS, in 2003, the California Department of Boating & Waterways (DBW) <br />awarded the City a $1.8 million grant for the design, construction and maintenance of a relocated <br />boat launch ramp; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro has expended $250,000 in design costs, of which to <br />date $88,075.26 was reimbursed by the DBW; and <br />WHEREAS, the Marina Master Developer, Cal Coast, has recommended that the ramp <br />remain at its current location; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That said City Council is hereby authorized to cancel the Boat Launch Ramp Relocation <br />Project, Project No. 150-38-246. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Stephens and passed and adopted this 16~' day of March, <br />2009, by the following called vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Prola, Reed, Souza, Stephens; Mayor Santos (5) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: Councilmembers Gregory and Starosciak (2) <br />ATTEST: ~K~~ . <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
