S. The redevelopment of demolished or vacant properties; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro, along with the cities of Alameda, Berkeley, <br />Fremont, Livermore, and Union City are eligible to apply to the State for a combined total of <br />$2,344,060 in NSP grant funds. In order to apply, the cities must enter into a joint agreement <br />and file a joint application. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That the City Manager is authorized on behalf of the City of San Leandro to enter into a <br />joint agreement with the cities of Alameda, Berkeley, Fremont, Livermore, and Union City. <br />That the City Manager is authorized to sign all documents as may be necessary to enter <br />into a joint agreement. <br />Introduced by Council Member <br />this 6th day of April, 2009 by the following called vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ATTEST: <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />1214287.1 <br />and passed and adopted <br />2 <br />
