AGC believes that increasing the rates on the other resident green fee categories could result in a decrease of rounds played at Monarch Bay. The percentage increases in the two categories range from 3.4% to 7.7% over a 17-month period. AGC and staff believe these two increases will not reduce the number of rounds played at Monarch. It should also be noted that AGC will increase the non-resident 18-hole weekday green fee to $40 and the non-resident 18-hole weekend fee to $62. Per AGC's agreement with the City, non-resident rates are not subject to Council approval. As mentioned earlier in this report, increasing the resident rates higher than proposed could mean a reduction of play on the Tony Lema Course. Current City Council Policy Not applicable.
