Davis Street Family Resource Center 3 Apri16, 2009 <br />March 2, 2009 -The City Council did not approve providing DSFRC with $500,000 in available <br />tax allocation bond funds issued by the Redevelopment Agency, but approved a substitute <br />motion directing staff to analyze other viable funding sources including CDBG funds and <br />preparing a resolution for Council to commit $500,000 from the most appropriate funding <br />mechanism to assist DSFRC with acquiring its facility at 3081 Teagarden Street. <br />City. Council Committee Review and Action <br />January 20, 2009 -The Finance Committee recommended taking to Council for approval the <br />commitment of $500,000 of CDBG funds to DSFRC towards the purchase of the property <br />located at 3081 Teagarden Street. <br />March 24, 2009 -The Finance Committee reviewed the use of CDBG funds for DSFRC through <br />HUD's "pre-award reimbursement" award alternative.
