CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:03 p.m. <br />A. Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag <br />Mayor Santos led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />B. Roll Call <br />PRESENT: Members Prola, Reed, Souza. (via teleconference from Washington, <br />D.C.), Stephens; Mayor Santos <br />ABSENT: Members Gregory and Starosciak <br />2. PRESENTATIONS/ RECOGNITIONS <br />A. Proclamation Declaring the Hour Between 8:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. on March 28, 2009 <br />as "Earth Hour" in San Leandro. <br />Julia Johnson, San Leandro resident, accepted the proclamation presented by Mayor <br />Santos. She thanked the City Council for the participation in "Earth Hour." <br />B. Youth Advisory Commission Update. <br />
