Peak hours for the Shuttle service is between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Cost Cutting Measures In order to operate the service within the grant allocation, the 2009-10 program includes cost cutting measures and fee increase that are described below. Results in less $14,000 time Paratransit availability for assisting riders Coordinator Eliminate Grroup Trips Group Trip transportation for City Senior Cost Services Program and non-profits serving saving seniors and people with disabilities. Service achieved was eliminated this year resulting in a 2008- in 09 cost Savin s of $25,000/ ear. 2008-09. It is anticipated that ridership will drop as a result of the fee increases. However, the fees are comparable to other paratransit options and the service will still be available for those in need. Service Enhancements Following is a summary of service enhancements that were implemented this year: Shuttle Route Change - We continue to "tweak" the shuttle service to make it more efficient and meet rider needs. We recently altered the shuttle bus route to the Washington Manor commercial center providing access to the amenities offered at Fargo and Manor Blvd including shopping and the Manor Branch Library. Hayward -San Leandro Shuttle Connection - We have implemented a new program connecting the San Leandro Flex Shuttle and Hayward Round-About Shuttle services.
