IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2009- <br />RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT TO RGW CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR THE <br />BAY TRAIL SLOUGH BRIDGE PROJECT, PROJECT NO. 08-144-39-012, FEDERAL AID <br />PROJECT NO. HP21 L-5041(025) <br />Recitals <br />The City of San Leandro did, on April 7, 2009 publicly open, examine and declare all <br />sealed proposals or bids for doing the work described in Resolution No. 2009-013 of the Council <br />of said City adopted on February 2, 2009, which resolution is hereby expressly referred to for a <br />description of said work and for all particulars relative to the proceedings under said resolution. <br />Said proposals were submitted to the Engineering and Transportation Director who has <br />recommended that the proposal hereinafter mentioned is the lowest responsive bid for doing said <br />work. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That said City Council hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids except that herein <br />mentioned, and hereby waives any irregularities in the proposal or bid of the lowest responsible <br />bidder, and hereby awards the contract for doing said work to the lowest responsible bidder <br />therefore, to wit: RGW Construction, Inc., at the prices named in its bid on file in the Office of <br />the City Clerk. <br />Introduced by Councilmember and passed and adopted this 4~' <br />day of May 2009, by the following called vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ATTEST: <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />K:~AA-C\COUNCIL~2009\5_MAY 04WWARD -Bay Trail Slough RES.doc <br />
