City and San Lorenzo Unified School District Liaison Committee <br />Apri123, 2009 <br />Page S <br />Councilmember Starosciak pointed out that this day is Jim Prola's birthday. All <br />congratulated Councilmember Prola. <br />Councilmember Souza stated that she hopes the `Every 15 Minute Program makes its <br />way to San Lorenzo High School. She explained that this program dramatically shows <br />the students the impacts of drunk driving and is offered by Eden Hospital. Castro <br />Valley High School and San Leandro High School have already benefited from this very <br />effective program. She confirmed that she will email the contact information to <br />Superintendent Byas. <br />6. Public Comments <br />As a member of the Washington Manor Homeowners Association (HOA), Mr. Leigh <br />stated that he is concerned about the traffic on Fargo Avenue. He also stated that the <br />HOA is in strong support for a pool at Washington Manor Middle School and suggested <br />that perhaps a Bond measure be used to fund a pool. <br />7. Adjourn <br />The meeting was adjourned at 2:40 p.m. <br />
