Minutes -City of San Leandro City Council Meeting -January 4,1999 Page 6 <br />The following Resolution was then introduced: <br />Resolution No. 99-4, Resolution Approving Plans and Specifications and Calling for <br />Bids for Fairway Drive Median Landscaping, Project No. 98-210-38-198 (provides <br />for public bidding and for landscape improvements on the median between Doolittle <br />Drive and Neptune Drive. Bid Opening date is scheduled for January 26, 1999). <br />(2858) <br />M/S/C Lothrop and Grant. Ayes: 6; Noes: 0; Absent: Loeffler <br />6.F Resolution Approving Contractual Services Agreement with Kennedy/Jenks <br />Consultants, Inc., Relating to the Design of the Neptune Lift Station Rehabilitation, <br />Project No. 98-593-52-133 (provides for the rehabilitation of Neptune Lift Station to <br />meet both current and future demands). <br />Council Member Grant clarified with staff that the actual cost of the Contract is <br />$80,995.00, as stated in the contract, and not $79,840.00, which was quoted in the <br />staff report. <br />The following Resolution was then introduced: <br />Resolution No. 99-5, Resolution Approving Contractual Services Agreement with <br />Kennedy/Jenks Consultants, Inc., Relating to the Design of the Neptune Lift Station <br />Rehabilitation, Project No. 98-593-52-133 (provides for the rehabilitation of <br />Neptune Lift Station to meet both current and future demands). (2323) <br />M/S/C Grant and Galvan. Ayes: 6; Noes: 0; Absent: Loeffler <br />6.G Resolution Approving Contract with the California Department of Boating and <br />Waterways for a Boating Safety and Enforcement Grant (approval of a contract to <br />receive $55,000 grant from the State for the purchase of a new patrol boat). <br />Council Member Nardine clarified with Tirn Haussener, Harbor Master, what is <br />currently budgeted for this program, the cost of the current patrol-boat program, and <br />clarified that the $55,000 grant will cover the entire cost of the new patrol boat. He <br />indicated there was $25,000 in this year's budget to cover the cost of having to replace <br />the engine in the old boat. They are hoping to keep the old boat in reserve.
