Minutes -City of San Leandro City Council, Page 8 <br />San Leandro Economic Development Agency, San Leandro <br />Housing Finance Corporation, San Leandro Public Financing Authority, and <br />San Leandro Redevelopment Agency Joint Meeting -June 21, 1999 <br />-- Resolution No. 99-84, Resolution of the City Council of the City of San <br />Leandro, Adopting City of San Leandro Budget for Fiscal Year 1999-2000 <br />and Appropriating All Revenue Therefor (adopts the City Manager's proposed <br />1999-2000 budget, including Appropriations and Reserve Transfers). (1051) <br />M/S/C Glaze and Lothrop. Ayes: 7; Noes: 0 <br />-- Minute Order No. 99-45, Matter of 1999-2000 Budget. (1051) <br />The City Council approved the City of San Leandro Budget, with the provision <br />that the Budget go back to the City Council Finance Committee to review the <br />recommended cutbacks and to make recommendations regarding modifications <br />to the Budget, as they find necessary. <br />M/S/C Glaze and Lothrop. Ayes: 7; Noes: 0 <br />The City Council recessed from 9:14 to 9:25 p.m. <br />B. Matter of Adoption of the State-Mandated 1998 California Building Standards <br />Codes (includes Resolutions of Findings Pursuant to California health and Safety <br />Code, Section 17958.7, related to modifications to the California Code of <br />Regulations Governing Building Construction; endorses changes and provides <br />findings as to the local conditions requiring changes from the Uniform and State <br />Building Codes). <br />This being the time and place for the Public Hearing on the above matter, Steve <br />Emslie, Development Services Director, gave a brief staff report. <br />The Hearing was then opened to the public. <br />Ira Schumer, 1521 Coats Drive, addressed the City Council in support of the <br />proposed changes. <br />Obray VanBuren, 200 Gregory Lane, Suite 114A, Pleasant Hill, addressed the <br />City Council in support of the proposed changes. <br />Dave Mann, 935 Detroit Avenue, Concord, addressed the City Council in <br />support of the proposed changes. <br />Dave Segueira, 2474 West Avenue 133'x, addressed the City Council in support <br />of the proposed changes. <br />
