SAN LEANDRO ADMINISTRATIVE CODE <br />FINANCE <br />TITLE B, Chapter 4 <br />FEES <br />§ 6.4.100: FEES. The following fees have been established by the City Council pursuant to various provisions of the San Leandro Municipal Code (SLMC), San Leandro Administrative Code (SLAC) or the general laws of the State of California. <br />Description <br />Current Fee Reference <br />7 Excavation and Grading <br />Minimum Fee <br />$53.85 PLUS the fees shown In the fee schedule as <br />adopted by the City Council except that wherever an <br />hourly rete Is shown, the rate shall be equal to the Direct <br />Cost (1) or whichever Is greater. <br />Plan Checking <br />$83.85 PLUS the fees shown In the fee schedule as <br />adopted by the City Council except that wherever an <br />hourly rete Is shown, the rate shall be equal to the Direct <br />Cost (1) or whichever Is greater. <br />8 Miscellaneous <br />A. Inspection Fees <br />Fees for Inspection not otherwise set forth herein <br />Direct Cost (1) <br />Courtesy Inspection for projects that are awaiting permit issuance pending <br />completion of plan review <br />Two times Direct Cost (1) with a minimum of one <br />hour <br />Fees for inspection conducted outside of normal business hours <br />Rate equal to 1.5 times the Direct Cost (1) with a <br />minimum fee of two 2 hours <br />B. Extra Inspection Fees <br />(1) Deficient or defective work, or otherwise through fault or error on <br />the part of the holder of permit or his/her employees <br />One inspection made under the regular fees as <br />provided herein <br />Each and every further extra inspection visit <br />Direct Cost (1) with a minimum of one hour <br />(2) Incorrect Address or location of work <br />Direct Cost (1) with a minimum of one-half hour <br />(3) Amending application to Increase the number of devices authorized Fees as stated herein for additional installations <br />for installation or repair after permit has been issued and before any <br />inspection of work is made: <br />(4) Investigation fee for work commenced without first obtaining Fee equal to three (3) times the minimum fees <br />permits as required by the San Leandro Municipal Code, whether or not PLUS any required permit fee <br />a permit is subsequently issued <br />(5) Code Compliance Inspections at the request of the property owner. <br />Direct Cost (1) with a minimum of one hour <br />(6) Investigation Fee for conditions that are not in compliance with the <br />San Leandro Zoning and/or Municipal Codes <br />Direct Cost(1) <br />Note: Payment of any investigation fees does not exempt any person from <br />compliance with all other provisions of applicable codes in the execution of the <br />work nor from any other penalties prescribed by law. <br />C. Other Fees and Charges <br />Automation Update Fee <br />5% of Permit Fee, Minimum $5.60 permit type <br />Strong Motion Impact Fee: State mandated tax for the Seismic Safety <br />Commission for seismic monitoring. Collected for the State by the City. <br />Residential: .0010 per $10.00 Valuation or fraction <br />thereof with a $0.50 min. CommercialAndustrial: <br />.0021 per $10.00 Valuation or fraction thereof with <br />a $.50 min. <br />Buildino Standards Commission (SB1473) Fee: State Manadated tax for Green <br />Buldling Standards collected for the State by the City. <br />All Residential, Commercial, and Industrial permits <br />that use Valuation to determine permit fees: $1.00 <br />per $25,000 valuation or fraction thereof with a <br />$1.00 minimum. <br />Certificate of Occupancy <br />Direct Costs (1) , with minimum of $131.00 <br />Temporary Certificate of Occupancy per 30 days <br />Direct Costs (1) , with minimum of $131.00 <br />Certificate of Compliance: <br />Direct Costs (1) , with minimum of $131.00 <br />Single -family dwelling <br />Direct Costs (1) , with minimum of $131.00 <br />Two-family dwelling <br />Direct Costs (1) , with minimum of $131.00 <br />All others <br />Direct Costs (1) , with minimum of $131.00 <br />House Moving Permit <br />Direct Costs (1) plus mileage, with minimum of <br />$131.00 <br />File retrieval and refiling (no staff assistance) <br />$6.45 <br />Microfilm Copies <br />$1.05 <br />Photocopies <br />$0.10 per page <br />Staff assistance with file contents <br />Direct Costs (1) <br />Microfilming of Permit and Plans includes imaging fee for fire permits: (For <br />purposes of fee charges, each permit is considered a drawing) <br />8-1/2 x 11 or 11 x 14 drawings including fire permits <br />$ 1.75 per sheet <br />All other size drawings <br />$ 2.00 per sheet <br />WFEE312000-10 Fessr2000-10 Adopted Fees 14 5/15/2000 <br />
