NEW BUSINESS <br />Items removed from the Consent Calendar: <br />7.B Resolution Approving Plans and Specifications and Calling for Bids for Advance <br />Traffic Signal System, Phase II, Davis Street Video Surveillance, Project No. 98-120- <br />38-168 (provides for video surveillance of traffic along Davis Street as well as <br />connecting traffic signals along the corridor). <br />Council Member Loeffler expressed shock and concern that this is being brought <br />forward, in light of the fact there has not been any progress in moving forward with <br />the televising of Council Meetings. <br />The City Manager explained that this project is funded by grant monies. <br />
