REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br />• Successful completion of the 83,500 square foot Creekside Plaza Phase III office <br />building serving as the headquarters for the Regional Center of the East Bay. <br />• In cooperation with Planning Services, complete negotiations relating to a <br />Development Agreement for the Kaiser Medical Center/Marina Point Shopping <br />Center development. <br />• Negotiate an agreement for the development of the former EBMUD site on <br />Washington Boulevard. The proposed mixed-use project is a critical part of the <br />revitalization strategy in the Downtown and supports the objectives of TOD and <br />Retail Recruitment Program. <br />• In cooperation with Engineering and Transportation participate in the preparation <br />of various applications for Economic Recovery and Reinvestment Act funding for <br />projects that stimulate local economic growth and sustainability. <br />PROGRAM CHANGES <br />• No program changes are proposed. <br />2009-10 FISCAL REDUCTIONS <br />• Effective July 1, Office of Business Development staffing will include a portion of <br />an Administrative Assistant II position that was previously charged to the Rent <br />Review Program within the General Fund. <br />
