BAHBA Agreement FY 2009-10 3 July 6, 2009 <br />On June 27, BAHBA conducted the second annual post-purchase workshop in San Leandro for <br />existing homeowners and/or loan recipients under the City's FTHB and IH/BMR Programs. The <br />intent of the post-purchase workshops is to educate these homeowners about the resale and other <br />affordability requirements under both programs and how to become stable homeowners. <br />The proposed contract with BAHBA to administer the FTHB and IH/BMR Programs in FY 2009- <br />10 is in the amount of $44,835, which is slightly less than the amount in FY 200&09. <br />Current Redevelopment Agency Policy <br />N/A <br />Previous Redevelopment A~ency Actions <br />The City CounciURedevelopment Agency approved funds from the Housing Set Aside Fund for <br />the administration of the FTHB and 1H/BMR Programs on June 1, 2009 with adoption of the City <br />budget. <br />City Council Committee Review and Action <br />N/A <br />Applicable General Plan Policy <br />Housing Element, Goal 55: First Time Homebuyer Opportunities -provide opportunities for low <br />and moderate income San Leandro households to become homeowners. <br />Housing Element, Policy 55.03: Inclusionary Housing -require the inclusion of affordable <br />housing in new housing developments -both inside and outside of the redevelopment project <br />areas.
