That on or about the 21st day of July 2008, the City of San Leandro, a municipal <br />corporation of the State of California having offices at 835 East 14th Street, San Leandro, <br />California, did enter into a certain contract with COLUMBIA ELECTRIC, INC., 1980 <br />DAMS STREET, SAN LEANDRO, CA 94577, as contractor, for a certain work of <br />improvement: to wit SAFE ROUTES TO SCHOOLS 2006-2007, PROJECT NO. 06- <br />144-36-016. <br />2. That the name of the surety upon the bond of the Contractor for said work of <br />improvement is as follows: FIRST NATIONAL INSURANCE COMPANY OF <br />AMERICA. <br />3. That said work of improvement was accepted by the City Council of the City of San <br />Leandro as completed on the 15th day of June, 2009. <br />4. The nature of the interest or estate of the City of San Leandro as owner of the SAFE <br />ROUTES TO SCHOOLS 2006-2007, PROJECT NO. 06-144-36-016 project is that of <br />public improvements made to the public right-of--way designated at major pedestrian <br />crossings with lighted crosswalks at the following locations: Dowling Avenue east of <br />Mitchell Avenue; Corvallis Street at Oberlin Street; Bancroft Avenue at Blossom Way; <br />Bancroft Avenue south of 142°a Avenue; Estudillo Avenue east of Harrison Avenue; <br />Manor Boulevard at Inverness Street; and speed feedback signs at School Street south of <br />136~~ Avenue, Corvallis Street at Farnsworth Avenue, Dayton Street at Dayton Court, <br />Aurora Drive at Walnut Drive, Monterey Boulevard at Anza Way, Juniper Street at <br />Willow Avenue, Dutton Avenue at Merle Court, Dutton Avenue at Dutton Court, and <br />Fargo Avenue at Edgemoor Street, as well as ownership of improvements thereon. <br />
