Ayes: 6; Noes: 0; Absent: 1 (Santos) <br />Newly-appointed District 3 Commissioners Lee Thomas and Lawrence Smith took the <br />Oath of Office administered by City Clerk Marian Handa. <br />3. PUBLIC HEARINGS~ITY COUNCIL <br />Public Hearing Comments are limited to 5 minutes per speaker, subject to adjustment by the <br />Mayor. When you address the City Council, you should fill out a speaker card and submit it <br />to the City Clerk so the order of speakers may be determined and an official record of names <br />and addresses obtained. <br />A. Matter of Proposed Amended Adjustments to the City Master Fees and Service <br />Charges Schedule for Fiscal Year 2009-10. <br />This being the time and place for the Public Hearing on the above matter, City Manager <br />Hollister introduced Budget and Compliance Manager Mary Ann Perini. Ms. Perini <br />gave a short presentation, describing the new temporary parking and boat launch fees <br />proposed for inclusion in the Fee Schedule. <br />Staff responded to questions from the Council. <br />The Hearing was then opened to the public. <br />There being no comments from the public, and without objection, the Public Hearing <br />was closed. <br />• Resolution No. 2009-080, Resolution Amending Title 6, Chapter 4 of the San <br />Leandro Administrative Code Relating to Fees and Charges for Temporary <br />Parking and Boat Launch Fees (approves the establishment of new fees for <br />temporary parking during construction of new parking garage at Estudillo and <br />Callan Avenues and for boat launching at the marina).
