Ayes: 6; Noes: 0; Absent: 1 (Santos) <br />Resolution No. 2009-015 RDA, Resolution of the Redevelopment Agency of the <br />City of San Leandro Approving an Amended and Restated Affordable Housing <br />Regulatory Agreement for the Mission Bell Apartments (extends the term of the <br />affordability restrictions until the year 2064). (3085) <br />M/S/C Stephens and Prola. Ayes: 6; Noes: 0; Absent: 1 (Santos) <br />D. Report on Closed Session Actions Taken <br />No reportable action taken. <br />E. Resolution No. 2009-095, Resolution Objecting to Any Seizure by State Government <br />of the City's Street Maintenance Funds and Supporting Litigation Challenging Any <br />Such Seizure (opposes legislation which diverts the City's share of funding from the <br />Highway Users Tax Account [HUTA], also known as the "gas tax," to fund the state <br />general fund). (1123) <br />M/S/C Souza and Prola. Ayes: 6; Noes: 0; Absent: 1(Santos) <br />11. CITY COUNCIL REPORTS <br />A. Reports on Intergovernmental Agencies <br />Councilmember Prola reported on the June 10 meeting of the Alameda County <br />Mosquito Abatement District. He reported that the District has completed its employee <br />negotiations. The District's monthly report showed that the number of mosquito biting <br />reports was lower than normal, and there were no reported cases of West Nile Virus. <br />The District will have an informational display at the Alameda County Fair. <br />B. Reports on Conferences and Seminars <br />None. <br />C. Reports on Empowerment Funds <br />Vice Mayor Starosciak reported that she contributed $500 from her Community <br />Empowerment Funds to Washington Manor Middle School to create an edible garden <br />and native plant garden. <br />
