Reports on Intergovernmental Agencies <br />Councilmember Prola reported on the June 10 meeting of the Alameda County <br />Mosquito Abatement District. He reported that the District has completed its employee <br />negotiations. The District's monthly report showed that the number of mosquito biting <br />reports was lower than normal, and there were no reported cases of West Nile Virus. <br />The District will have an informational display at the Alameda County Fair. <br />B. Reports on Conferences and Seminars <br />None. <br />C. Reports on Empowerment Funds <br />Vice Mayor Starosciak reported that she contributed $500 from her Community <br />Empowerment Funds to Washington Manor Middle School to create an edible garden <br />and native plant garden. <br />
