Reports on Intergovernmental Agencies Councilmember Prola reported on the June 10 meeting of the Alameda County Mosquito Abatement District. He reported that the District has completed its employee negotiations. The District's monthly report showed that the number of mosquito biting reports was lower than normal, and there were no reported cases of West Nile Virus. The District will have an informational display at the Alameda County Fair. B. Reports on Conferences and Seminars None. C. Reports on Empowerment Funds Vice Mayor Starosciak reported that she contributed $500 from her Community Empowerment Funds to Washington Manor Middle School to create an edible garden and native plant garden.
