The subject project will focus on improvements for pedestrian and vehicular traffic safety. The project is generally consistent with the guidelines established in the East 14`h Street South Area Development Strategy. Current City Council Policy Not Applicable Previous City Council Action(s) • On November 4, 2002, by Resolution No. 2002-156, the City Council authorized the City Manager to execute Supplement Agreement 006-M for the design phase • On April 12, 2004, by Resolution No. 2004-038, the City Council approved the East 14th Street South Area Development Strategy • On July 18, 2005, by Resolution No. 2005-015 RDA, the City Council acting in the capacity of the Redevelopment Agency Board approved the design services agreement with Harris and Associates and consented to the use of Redevelopment Agency funds to match the Federal Grant Funds • On May 5, 2008, by Resolution No. 2008-047, the City Council approved a Program Supplement Agreement No. 11N for the subject project City Council Committee Review and Action Not Applicable Applicable General Plan Policy This action is consistent with Streets and Highway Goal No. 19 of the General Plan and Action Item 19.01-D: East 14th Streetscape Improvements.
