IN THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2009 - <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2008-024 RDA, SECTION 2., <br />TO INCREASE THE MEMBERSHIP OF <br />THE REDEVELOPMENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE (RAC) FROM 10 TO 12 MEMBERS, <br />ADDING TWO AT-LARGE RESIDENTIAL REPRESENTATIVES <br />WHEREAS, on October 20, 2008, the Redevelopment Agency adopted Resolution No. <br />2008-024 RDA, approving the voluntary formation of the Redevelopment Advisory Committee <br />(RAC) to serve all of the project areas including West San Leandro/MacArthur Boulevard, <br />Alameda County-City of San Leandro, Plaza Redevelopment Project Areas; and <br />WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency wishes to foster active public participation in <br />the redevelopment process by the formation of a voluntary committee for citizen and property <br />owner involvement; and <br />WHEREAS, the Agency Chair and staff received applications from well qualified <br />candidates for residential representatives for the committee; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council Business and Housing Development Committee as <br />recommended by the Agency Chair and staff recommends that the Agency amend RDA <br />Resolution No. 2008-024 to increase the membership of the RAC from ten (10) to twelve (12) to <br />add two additional at-large members to the composition of the RAC; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />LEANDRO, CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />That Section 2 of Resolution No. 2008-024 RDA is hereby amended as follows: <br />Section 2.
