Mayor Corbett thanked the Finance Committee for their work. The following Motion was then introduced: - Minute Order No. 97-20, Motion Approving the City Council's Budget Strategies and Their Use in the Preparation of the Budget, Fiscal Year 1997-98. (1051) The City Council approved the City Council's Budget Strategies and their use in the preparation of the Budget, Fiscal Year 1997-98. M/S/C 6alvan and Young. Ayes: 7; Noes: 0 5.E Resolution Approving Installation of Neighborhood Traffic Controls on Sitka Street (provides for installation of three speed humps on Sitka Street between Aurora Drive and Doolittle Drive). Traffic Engineer Ray Davis reported on the proposed locations of the speed humps. If approved, they will be installed in conjunction with the Estudillo Avenue humps; the median will be installed in May or June. Council Member Lothrop asked that the residents have an opportunity to meet with staff to review the median. Mayor Corbett complimented Susan Boland on her advocacy efforts in the neighborhood. The following Resolution was then introduced: Resolution No. 97-38, Resolution Approving Installation of Neighborhood Traffic Controls on Sitka Street (provides for installation of three speed humps on Sitka Street between Aurora Drive and Doolittle Drive).
