Minutes - City of San Leandro City Council and Page - 3 - <br />San Leandro Redevelopment Agency Meeting - September 2, 1997 <br />Council Member Polvorosa thanked the Washington Manor Homeowners` <br />Association for coming forth with the additional contribution toward the <br />reward money. He added that the only fault with the meeting was the <br />issue of responsibility, which he feels should not only be the <br />responsibility of the Police Department, but parents should be held <br />responsible as well. <br />Mayor Corbett re-emphasized the outpouring of support and stated that <br />the Washington Manor community continues to be a wonderful neighborhood. <br />The following Resolution was then introduced: <br />Resolution No. 97-110, Resolution Offering Reward for Apprehension of <br />Perpetrator (provides for reward of $10,000 for information leading to <br />the arrest and conviction of the person or persons involved in the <br />recent drive-by shootings in Washington Manor). (1123) <br />M/S/C Glaze and Polvorosa. Ayes: 7; Noes: 0 <br />B. Ordinance No. 97-026, An Ordinance Establishing Compensation of the <br />Mayor (establishes the salary of the Mayor at $2,800 per month). <br />- Adopted (1315) <br />M/S/C Galvan and Young. Ayes: 6; Noes: Polvorosa <br />C. Report on Closed Session Actions Taken. <br />The City Attorney reported there was no action taken. <br />
