Minutes - Gity of San Leandro City Council and Page - 10 - <br />San Leandro Redevelopment Agency Meeting - October 20, 1997 <br />5. Council Member Young echoed the remarks about the event and added <br />that perhaps the Farmers' Market would do better if it were held mid- <br />week. She concluded by reporting on the Spinnaker Golf Tournament. <br />6. Mayor Corbett reported that San Leandro was highlighted at the League <br />of California Cities for their Joint Revitalization Project with the <br />Gity of Oakland. <br />Mayor Corbett also commented on the Davis Street Transfer Station <br />Flea Market. Additionally, she reported that San Leandro High School <br />won their Homecoming Game. She concluded by asking if the Council <br />would be interested in looking into having young people participate <br />in making some decorations for this year's City Hall Christmas Tree? <br />Council agreed and it was suggested that Senior Volunteers be asked <br />to help coordinate the effort. <br />9. ADJOURN <br />The City Council adjourned its meeting at 9:40 p.m. to Monday, October 27, <br />1997, at the Civic Center, for a Closed Session at 6:15 p.m., in the City <br />Manager's Office, Large Conference Room, and a Work Session at 7:00 p.m., in <br />the South Offices Conference Room. <br />APPROVED: <br />EL N M.
