IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2005-003 (1455/2945) <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING <br />THE CITY MANAGER TO SIGN AND FILE, <br />FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO, <br />A WATER RECYCLING CONSTRUCTION GRANT APPLICATION <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of San Leandro that the City Manager or his <br />designee is hereby authorized to sign and file, for and on behalf of the City of San Leandro, a <br />Recycled Water Construction Grant Application for a grant from the State Water Resources <br />Control Board in the amount not to exceed $998,500.00 for construction of facilities for <br />treatment and storage of recycled water to Monarch Bay Golf Complex, Marina Park and area <br />road medians. <br />BE IT RESOLVED that the City of San Leandro hereby agrees and further does authorize the <br />aforementioned representative or his designee to certify that the City has and will comply with <br />all applicable state statutory and regulatory requirements related to any state grant funds <br />received, and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager or his designee of the City of San Leandro <br />is hereby authorized to negotiate and execute a grant contract and any amendments or change <br />orders thereto on behalf of the City of San Leandro. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Glaze and passed and adopted this 18th day of January, 2005 by <br />the following called vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Badger, Glaze, Grant, Santos <br />(4) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: Councilmembers Nardine, Stephens; Mayor Young (3) <br />ATTEST: Wl <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
