1.0 PROJECT DESCRIP'T'ION
conceptual design prepared by the City takes into account the additional load for the casing pipe,
recycled water pipeline and recycled water (O'Driscoh, 2004).
EQUIl'MENT /STAGING
Installation of the pipeline will include, but is not limited to, the following equipment: crane,
excavator, backhoe, front-end loaders, dump trucks, diesel generator, water tank, flat-bed truck,
compactors, concrete trucks, paving equipment and baker tanks (as needed). Equipment and
vehicle staging will be accommodated either at each construction site, therefore increasing the
total area of disturbance or at a centralized staging area. Staging will avoid sensitive areas such
as riparian or other habitat.
1.7 RIGHT-OF-WAY ISSUES /PERMITS REQUIRED
The proposed facilities will be sited within existing City-owned property (far the disinfection and
filtration facility) and at the Monarch Bay Golf Complex, owned by the City and operated by
American Golf Corporation.
