Other public agencies whose approval is required: <br />^ City of San Leandro: Encroachment and Excavation Permit <br />^ East Bay Regional Park District (EBRPD) -Encroachment Permit <br />^ California Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB): National Pollutant Discharge <br />Elimination System (NPDES) permit for construction activities and preparation of the Storm Water <br />Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP), and Waste Discharge Requirements under the Porter-Cologne <br />Act. <br />^ San Francisco Bay Area Air Quality Management District (BAAQMD): Permit to Construct <br />^ San Francisco Bay Conservation and Development Commission (BCDC) -construction near the <br />San Francisco Bay shoreline <br />^ California Department of Fish and Game (CDFG) -Stream Alteration Agreement (SAA) (although <br />all water crossings would be constructed with trenchless methods, a CDFG SAA may be required) <br />^ The City will need to submit a Notice of Intent (NOI) and a Recycled Water Producer.'s Program <br />that describes administrative and other measures that the City will take to meet the requirements of <br />Order 96-011 -General Water Reuse Requirements to the Regional Board <br />The Project has been sited to avoid direct impacts on wetlands and sensitive habitats, including those that <br />could support special status species. In addition, mitigation has been incorporated into the Project to <br />avoid or minimize the potential indirect effects on habitat or sensitive species, such as erosion or noise. <br />Therefore, no impact or significant impact is expected to these resources. No permits from the United <br />States Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) or National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), are expected to <br />be required for wetlands or endangered species.
