._ <br />IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2005-084 X2547) <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) <br />CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIl') AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br />THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO AND <br />BUILDING FUTURES WITH WOMEN AND CHILDREN <br />FOR FISCAL YEAR 2005-2006 <br />An agreement between the City of San Leandro and Building Futures with Women and <br />Children (BFWC), a copy of which is attached, has been presented to this Council. <br />The Council is familiar with the contents thereof. <br />The City Manager has recommended approval of said agreement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That said agreement is hereby approved and execution thereof is hereby authorized for the <br />CDBG grant amount of $45,000 for facility improvements to the BFWC San Leandro Shelter. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Stephens and passed and adopted this 20t" day of June, 2005 <br />by the following called vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Badger, Nardine, Santos, Starosciak, Stephens; Mayor Young (6) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: Councihnember Grant (1) <br />ATTEST: <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
