IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION N0.2005-086 (1123) RESOLUTION APPROVING DONATIONS FROM THE MAYOR'S COMMUNITY FUND TO COMM[_JNITY GROUPS, ORGANIZATIONS AND PROGRAMS WHEREAS, the Mayor's Community Fund has been established to provide financial assistance to local community groups, organizations and programs which might benefit from a nominal financial contribution; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the Mayor's Community Fund serves a public purpose and provides a significant public benefit to the City of San Leandro by providing fimding to local community groups, organizations and programs; and WHEREAS, the City Manager reviews and approves all disbursements from the Mayor's Community Fund for compliance with its stated purpose. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: 1. That the community groups, organizations and programs listed in Attaclunent A are determined to provide services and/or activities for the benefit of the residents and City of San Leandro are hereby approved to receive discretionary funding from the Mayor's Community Fund, as directed by the Mayor and approved by the City Manager. 2. That any additions to this list will be approved by motion by the City Council upon finding that the funds to be provided to the community group, organization or program serves a public purpose for the benefit of the residents and City of San Leandro.
