EXHIBIT A-2: <br />ASSUMPTIONS /EXCLUSIONS <br />The scope of work described above assumes the following: <br />1) The City of San Leandro will provide a geotechnical report which includes <br />pavement structural sections and design criteria for retaining walls and other <br />project structures. <br />2) The City of San Leandro will provide a traffic report which includes existing and <br />projected traffic volumes and recommendations on turn pocket storage lengths <br />and other traffic features for submittal to Caltrans as a part of the Encroachment <br />Permit Application. <br />3) The City of San Leandro will provide an environmental document for the project <br />far submittal to Caltrans as a part of the Encroachment Permit Application. <br />4) The City of San Leandro will provide aerial topographic mapping for the project. <br />5) We do not anticipate the need for lane closures to perform the field survey work. <br />If Caltrans requires lane closures we would propose to provide the lane closures <br />through a traffic control company on a time and materials basis. <br />6) The design off required utility relocations will be performed by the individual <br />utility owner and are not a part of this scope of work. <br />7) Caltrans permit fees will be paid for by the City of San Leandro. <br />8) The City of San Leandro will be responsible for providing title reports, and the <br />appraisal and acquisition of needed right of way. <br />9) Caltrans Hard Copy mapping and a Record of Survey will not be required for the <br />project. <br />10) Reproduction of PS&E for bid documents, and support during bidding and <br />construction is not included in this contract. <br />Any or all of the work efforts associated with the assumptions indicated above can be incorporated into <br />the work program subject to approval of additional budget and schedule adjustments. <br />ACTIA 11: I-880/Washington Avenue Interchange Improvements June 2005 <br />COSL Project No. 144-39-007 Page 26 of 35 <br />
