IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION NO. 2005-131 (2323/2465) RESOLUTION APPROVING THE EAST 14TH STREET/INTERNATIONAL BOULEVARD/TELEGRAPH AVENUE RAPID BUS PROJECT COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT FOR DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION, AND ADMINISTRATION BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO AND THE ALAMEDA COUNTY CONGESTION MANAGEMENT AGENCY (CMA) WHEREAS, the cooperative agreement is an agreement of all participating agencies to work with CMA to improve the advertisement, bidding, administration, construction, and implementation of the East 14th Street/International Boulevard/Telegraph Avenue Rapid Bus Project (Rapid Bus Project); and WHEREAS, the Rapid Bus Project extends from East 14th StreetBayfair Drive to the University of California at Berkeley Campus, along the following roadways: East 14th Street, International Boulevard, 11th Street, 12th Street, Broadway, 20th Street, Telegraph Avenue, Bancroft Way, Shattuck Avenue, University Avenue, Oxford Avenue, Center Street, and Durant Avenue; and WHEREAS, the Rapid Bus Project entails signal and advanced transportation management system improvements, including an optical detection system, signal upgrades, detection system, pedestrian push button, signal interconnect, signal timing and other improvement along the project corridor; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of San Leandro does hereby approve the East 14th Street/International Boulevard/Telegraph Avenue Rapid Bus Project Cooperative Agreement for design, construction and administration between the City of San Leandro and the Alameda County Congestion Management Agency. That said agreement is hereby approved and execution thereof is hereby authorized.
