SAN LEANDRO ADMINISTRATIVE CODE <br />TITLE 1 CITY COUNCIL <br />Chapter 6 City Equipment <br />0.6100: USE OF CITY -OWNED ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT. Councilmembers <br />may be allowed to use City -owned electronic equipment, such as computers, printers, <br />photocopiers, pagers, fax machines, cellular phones and radios. City equipment may be used for <br />official duties only. Use of City equipment for activities not related to official duties is <br />prohibited. <br />The policy on use of City -owned electronic equipment, applies to employees and elected and <br />appointed officers of the City. <br />Councilmembers are responsible for the care, security and appropriate use of City equipment. <br />Inappropriate uses may include, but are not limited to obscenity, harassment, slander, defamation, <br />commercial or for-profit activities, and political or campaign activities. <br />Any City -owned equipment assigned to employees and elected and appointed officers of the City <br />should be returned to the City Manager's Office upon request and/or within five (5) working days <br />of the request. <br />Le,-islative History: <br />Resolution No. 98-163, 1212111998 ffl.6.100� <br />Department Responsible for Revision: City Clerk Chapter 1.6 <br />12/21/1998 Page 1 <br />
