5. All details of construction, including, but not limited to, on-site pavement slopes, <br />illumination, drainage, etc., are subject to the approval of the City Engineer. <br />6. The City's Principal Engineer shall approve ingress to and egress from the project and all <br />traffic circulation patterns, traffic signs, driveway widths, sections, and parking layouts <br />within the project boundary. <br />7. All storm water runoff from the project shall be collected in an underground system and <br />conveyed to an appropriate storm drain system. Hydrologic and hydraulic calculations shall <br />be reviewed and approved by the City Engineer and the Alameda County Public Works <br />Agency. Written approval from the Alameda County Public Works Agency shall be <br />submitted to the City Engineer prior to the issuance of building permits. <br />8. The project shall be graded to allow for the overland release of runoff into the Alameda <br />County Flood Control Facilities during a higher than design storm event and/or in the event <br />of total failure of the on-site storm drainage system. <br />9. Prior to performing any grading work on site, the Applicant shall submit all information <br />including a Grading Plan accompanied by Soils Engineering and Engineering Geology <br />Reports, in accordance with requirements of the City of San Leandro Municipal Code Title <br />VII, Chapter 12 and obtain a grading permit. <br />10. To control both during and post construction storm water pollution, the Applicant shall <br />comply with the regulations and provisions contained in the City's Grading Ordinance, the <br />City's Storm Water Pollution Prevention Permit, and the National Pollutant Discharge <br />Elimination System (NPDES), to the satisfaction of the City Engineer and the Regional <br />Water Quality Control Board. <br />11. The project Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs) shall include stormwater <br />pollution prevention and control measures for the operation and maintenance of the <br />project during and after construction for review and approval by the City Engineer. The <br />SWPPPs shall identify Best Management Practices (BMPs) appropriate to the uses <br />conducted on-site in order to limit to the maximum extent practicable the entry of <br />pollutants into stormwater runoff. <br />12. The plans shall also include erosion control measures to prevent soil, dirt and debris from <br />entering the storm drain system, in accordance with the practices outlined in the ABAG <br />Erasion and Sediment Control Handbook, California Storm Water Best Management <br />Practice Handbooks, and the Regional Water Quality Control Board's Erosion and <br />Sediment Control Field Manual. <br />13. The applicant is also responsible for ensuring that all contractors and subcontractors are <br />aware of and implement all stormwater quality measures. Failure to comply with the <br />approved construction BMPs shall result in the issuance of correction notices, citations <br />and/or a prof ect stop order. <br />Page 2 of 4 <br />
