IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2004-021 (1003/2639) <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A <br />GRANT AGREEMENT WITH THE ASSOCIATION OF BAY AREA GOVERNMENTS <br />(ABAG) RELATING TO THE BAY TRAIL BRIDGE PROTECT, AND APPROPRIATION OF <br />MEASURE B BICYCLE AND PEDESTRIAN FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $250,000 <br />Recitals <br />WHEREAS, the Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG) has awarded the City of <br />San Leandro a $175,000 grant to complete the design phase of the Bay Trail Bridge Project; and <br />WHEREAS, an agreement has been presented to this Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager has reviewed the agreement attached hereto and <br />recommends approval, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That the Grant Agreement between the Association of Bay Area Governments <br />and the City of San Leandro is hereby approved; and <br />2. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute said agreement and any <br />additional documents necessary to facilitate the transaction; and <br />3. That $250,000 be appropriated from Measure B Bicycle and Pedestrian Funds. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Grant and passed and adopted this 2nd day of February, <br />2004, by the following called vote: <br />
